Shipping Policy

Thank you for shopping with USED GYM EQUIPMENTS LLC. We are dedicated to delivering your order safely and efficiently. By placing an order with us, you agree to the terms outlined in this Shipping Policy.

1. Order Processing and Handling

All orders are processed within 3 to 5 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped.

Please note that "processing time" is separate from "shipping time." Processing includes safety inspections, cleaning, palletizing, and packaging your heavy equipment for freight transport.

2. Shipping Rates and Estimates

Domestic Shipping (USA):

  • We offer calculated shipping rates based on the weight and dimensions of the equipment and your delivery zip code.
  • Standard Freight Delivery: Estimated transit time is 5 to 10 business days within the continental United States.
  • Expedited shipping is generally not available for heavy freight items due to carrier limitations.

3. Freight Delivery Terms (Important)

Because the majority of our inventory (Treadmills, Ellipticals, Weight Stacks) is heavy and oversized, we ship via LTL (Less-Than-Truckload) Freight.

  • Curbside Delivery Only: Unless otherwise specified, all freight shipments are "Curbside Delivery." The driver will lower the pallet to the ground at the end of your driveway or curb. The driver will not bring the equipment into your garage, home, or facility.
  • Appointment Required: The freight carrier will call you 24-48 hours before delivery to schedule a drop-off window. You must provide a valid phone number at checkout. Failure to answer the carrier’s call may result in storage fees or return shipping costs, which will be deducted from your refund.
  • Unloading Assistance: For extremely large items, we recommend having assistance available to help move the item from the curb to your secure location.

4. Damages and Inspection Upon Arrival

We insure all shipments. However, to file a claim, you must inspect the freight before the driver leaves.

  • Visible Damage: If the box, pallet, or equipment appears damaged, you must write "DAMAGED" clearly on the Proof of Delivery (POD) or Bill of Lading (BOL) receipt that the driver asks you to sign.
  • Concealed Damage: If you find damage after unpacking, you must contact us within 48 hours of delivery.
  • Refusal of Damaged Goods: If the damage is catastrophic, you have the right to refuse the shipment. Note "REFUSED - DAMAGED" on the receipt and contact us immediately.

Failure to note damage on the delivery receipt releases USED GYM EQUIPMENTS LLC and the carrier from liability.

5. Order Tracking

When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number (PRO Number) and a link to the freight carrier’s website. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available.

6. Wrong Address & Re-routing

It is the customer's responsibility to provide an accurate shipping address. If an address correction is requested after the item has shipped, the carrier will charge a re-consignment fee (typically $50-$150), which will be billed to the customer.
